I guess the same principle count for that question.
Those who want Victoria's husband to be king when she becomes queen will prefer her spouse to be crownprince from their wedding until her accession.
Those who feel that when a man and a woman have an equal title the man has to be the one who is in line/on the throne will prefer HRH prince Daniel or possibly even less.

: Dag, I thought the discussion has always been
: about whether he would be
: "King(-Consort)" or
: "Prince(-Consort)" Daniel after
: Victoria becoming Queen Victoria.
: I (I mean I) have never read about Daniel
: perhaps being titled "Sweden's Crown
: Prince" when Victoria still is
: "Sweden's Crown Princess".

: Without wanting to go ahead of things to
: come
: ( ): if Daniel Westling will surely become
: Prince by wedding his lovely Crown Princess
: Victoria will he also be allowed to be
: called Crown Prince , or is this just
: reserved to the heir(ess). Amateur question,
: I know, but I just don't know.
: I would have aksed this question if Denmark
: Crown Princess is not the title of the
: female heir (as yet). This would be Throne
: Follower, whereas the wife of a Crown Prince
: is the Crown Princess. But of course the
: legislation in Sweden is more modern. Still,
: please enlighten me/us.
:
: This question has been discussed here so
: many times, Joris, and you have been around.
: The answer is of course that we cannot know
: anything for sure before the decision has
: been made, but if presedence in other
: monarchies is followed then Daniel Westling
: will be titled Prince with the style of
: Royal Highness and nothing else.
