Queen Louisa remained Dutch Reformed.
But the marriage of the (then) princess and crownprince Carl in Stockholm was carried out by the (Lutheran) archbishop of Uppsala with support of some other bishops.
And Louisa had to promise that she would raise her children Lutheran (also because - of course - the eldest son would be heir to the throne someday).
