Because the royals live on big, often fenced, areas, their doggies are in paradise and can run and play all day around.
Sadly also a royal domain has traffic so now and then. It is clear that a dog living at a royal domain has not the same experience with busy traffic as a dog living in Kopenhagen.
Also the domains are not without danger anyway. Queen Beatrix' dog (Miss Pepper, a Border Terrier) was found suffocated in a rabbit hole, in the park around Huis ten Bosch Palace.
