I don't think people care. It was mentioned briefly on the TV-news and in the papers.
The Queen's private secretary Henning Fode has given a short comment to the Ritzau news agency. He says that the Queen and Prince Consort have considered this move for a long time and that it's meant to emphasise the French bloodline.
