From St. Louis to Pittsburg, from Chicago to Nashville , writers will not only have their work read and judged in competition, one will be produced during the 2006 Summer Broadway Series Season at French Lick. The Broadway Series at French Lick will soon be entering its fifth year and their shows have played to thousands of delighted theatre goers. The top four works will also be read by Dramatists Play Service of New York where one may be selected for publication. Dramatists will also be awarding a $500 stipend to the selected play.

Announces Playwright Competition
For nearly 70 years Dramatists Play Service, Inc. has provided the finest plays by both established writers and new playwrights of exceptional promise.
Formed in 1936 by a number of prominent playwrights and theatre agents, Dramatists Play Service, Inc. was created to foster opportunity and provide support for playwrights by publishing acting editions of their plays and handling the nonprofessional and professional leasing rights to these works.
Dramatists Play Service, Inc. has grown steadily to become one of the premier play-licensing agencies in the English-speaking theatre. All play submissions should be sent to: French Lick Play Review % Bob Trinkle Productions, 413 Highland Avenue, New Albany Indiana 47150. Submissions must be postmarked by December 31, 2004. Judges decisions are final. Submissions will not be returned.
