Barnstormers Theater is proud to present an
imaginative theater piece about
a lifelong love called "Love Letters". Written by
A.R. Gurney and directed
by Penny Beene, it tells the story of Andrew Ladd
(Marc Schule of Arden,
DE) and Melissa Gardner (Patricia Bradford of
Pottstown). They begin as
childhood friends who send each other birthday party
thank-you notes and
summer camp postcards. Romantically attached, they
continue to exchange
letters through their high school and college
yearsÂand beyond. Over the
course of their lives, their letters eloquently convey
how much they really
meant and have given to each other over the years -
physically apart
perhaps, but spiritually as close as only true lovers
can be. The seating
will be cabaret style, which means if you bring the
jug of wine and loaf of
bread, we'll supply the romance. For reservations,
