I entirely agree with your sentiments Linda.
I've been to Queens for around the last 5 years, but made the decision after this year's event not to go again. The tickets are just too expensive, I paid £80.00 through their ballot (for what turned out to be a very poor seat near the back) on quarter-finals day.
As you say, they appear to be doing everything they can to prevent ordinary tennis fans from enjoying their home country events. Shameful!
