In addition to our present top 3 there are at least another 6 girls with the potential to reach the top 100:-
Mel South reached 99 before falling back but is now moving up again.
Georgie Stoop has been inside the top 200 and is now moving up again.
Naomi Cavaday climbed rapidly into the top 200 and many people thought she had even more potential than our top 3 players.However illness forced her to take a long break and she has only recently got back to full match fitness.
Laura Robson winner of Wimbledon Junior title in 2008, at the age of 15 has already beaten players inside the top 130 and has won a $10K title.
Heather Watson 17 year old winner of the USA Open Junior title in 2009. She has recently moved into the senior game and has already won a $10K title.
Johanna Konta at present playing for Australia but has applied for British nationality. At the age of 17 has already won one $25K and reached the final of another. She is well inside the top 400 and has already beaten several players just outside the top 200 and one around 150.
