I think Murray is likely to have a good career spending a number of years in the top ten. However his performances in the grand slams (Semi, Quarter and 2 * last 16) are disappointing for a top 5 player.
Now that two younger players have won a grand slam tournament, I think it is clear that Murray will not dominate tennis in the way Sampras and Federer have.
Murray still may win an occasional grand slam and/or spend a few weeks as number one (like Ferrero, Roddick and Safin).
