I was gobsmacked to come online this morning and see that Murray had lost. I was even more shocked to see that he had been soundly spanked and put in the corner. A real shocking result. Maybe his wrist was playing up, maybe it wasn't, but it is one of his worst losses in a long time, especially as he came into the match in good form.
With those finalist points coming off and Nadal looking like he's not as badly injured as everyone thought, Murray will be sliding back down to number 3 fairly swiftly.
