I agree Monday would have had more atmosphere as it was a 5 setter plus the roof was closed; I wasn't there then but was for the 17th May and it makes a huge difference to the sound when its shut. Also by the SF's there are no queuers on the show courts so the crowd is always a bit more restrained plus for the last couple of years flags over 2' square have to be smuggled in or they are convescated which all tones it down somewhat. Having been on court for a number of Henman and Rusedski matches over the years I was pleasantly surprised at the support for Murray on Friday and would say it was up there with the Henman SFs. However you have to give the crowd something to shout about and in the first set he was quite passive and I think we were somewhat shocked! Once he broke in the second with some great play, we were cheering loudly, standing up for great shots etc as were others near us (row L)with no dirty looks and the crowd firmly into it and mostly behind Murray (there were of course some Roddick fans too).
