Putting it in perspective - if you look at his last 12 months on Hard and Grass courts... Its only Olympics, Dubai, Aussie Open and Paris Indoors where he failed to get to semis or beyond.
Apart from the Olympics, at the other 3 he still made the quarters, and even withdrew injured out of one (Dubai) without playing.
Tournament wins: Queens, Miami, Rotterdam, Doha, St Petes, Madrid, Cincinatti
win-loss record on hard&grass: 65-8
Consistent is an understatement. That record takes some criticising, even the British media seem to recognise that.
Mind you he is naff on clay !
