I just did a clean install of Win XP Pro that includes service pack 1, and after installing all the drivers for my cards, I still have a yellow question mark for "other devices" in device manager with an SM bus controller listed with another yellow question mark and an exclamation mark.
It wasn't there before I did the reinstall, and there are no new cards on the system. I have done several clean installs previously and have never seen this item.
Can anyone please tell me what it is and what is going on?
I have an Asus P4c800-e motherboard and only have my agp video card, a soundblaster card and a Canopus ADVC1394 analogue/firewire card for video capturing on the system.
