The US is indeed facing dire straits.
Republicans are spending money like drunken sailors (or liberals). They have abandoned the core moral issues that spell the difference between a principled society and one that is concerned with how many unborn babies it can slaughter.
In the meantime, the nation seems poised to elect Hillary, who will embark upon a program of a socialized welfare state that will gut the economy, and leave us little better off than a third world banana republic.
Thanks to an alliance of Republicans and Democrats, the borders are overrun by illegal aliens whose economic demands have shuttered dozens of hospitals along the US-Mexican border, and made "press one for english" one of the most familiar phrases heard on the telephone.
Picture Hillary and Pelosi in burkahs, and you have an idea of what direction the nation is headed.
