Posted by Bob on 10/19/2007, 5:58 am, in reply to "Re: Is this an HONEST misunderstanding?" Some months ago, some Christians decided to pray for Jews, that they would recognize Jesus as the Messiah. You'd think, from the liberal response, that the Christians were praying that the Jews all go to Hell. It was exactly the opposite. Do these critics really BELIEVE what they're saying, or are they so desperate to demonize the right that they will seize on any quote, and distort it to mean the opposite of what was said? At times it seems to me to be deliberate, but I'm beginnning to wonder, perhaps there really and truly is such a disconnect between right and left, that some on the left actually and sincerely believe the things they say. Wipe Israel off the earth???

It's not just Coulter. Let any conservative say something about faith, and you get this standard response from the left. "They're trying to force their views..." they're intolerant... monopoly on the Truth... they're closed-minded... bigoted... etc.
