Source? 3) In effect, PRChina's rebuttal to the west is something like this: You got rich by polluting, we'll get rich by polluting. Source? 4) PRChina is gearing up for a war of conquest against Taiwan. That will require massive increases in its industrial output. Source? 5) The most pollution efficient industries are in the US and West Europe. Pollution efficiency is the most meaningful standard. It is the amount of pollution per unit of output. Closing down industries in the west means moving them to the east, where pollution per unit is MORE than in the west. Same output, MORE pollution. The US is the worse polluter per capita in the world and consumes 25% of the world's energy. You're like a broken record - are you really that dense? As I've said numerous times, but I'll repeat if once more: no one is suggesting closing down industries. What IS being suggested and NOT happening because King George is supported by big business, is installing pollution scrubbers and other technology to reduce greenhouse gases. You're right about Europe - as least you finally admit that - but wrong about the US. Try facing facts.

1) PRChina is increasing its pollution dramatically every year, with no slowdown in sight.
