I don't know that I agree here. There are still far too many complexities and variables in the equation of consciousness for me to be able to ascertain whether or not it has merely a physical principle or rather some other principle at work. I am inclined to think that it is a byproduct of physical principles, but there are still just too many complexities for ruling other possibilities out at this time.
