Posted by Bob on 10/1/2007, 7:18 am, in reply to "What if they did a reverse study?" While some people say that there is no harm in homosexuality, I hardly think that there is any advantage in it. If a homosexual person wishes to change his orientation, then avenues should be explored to allow this to happen. If it could be shown that heterosexuals can be induced to become more homosexual, this might fuel the argument against gay people adopting. Therefore, I doubt that such a study will ever be undertaken. Similar studies could be, and perhaps have been, conducted to see why some heterosexual men are far more prone to be promiscuous, while other men are more the "one-woman" type. Again, I don't see how society could be harmed if men were more faithful to their wives. Of course all these studies tend to be clouded by political motivations from various factions.

I retain an open mind about this. I do believe that homosexuality is probably an inborn tendency, and that this tendency is stronger in some people than in others.
