This is especially true for SIPA (School of International and Public Affairs) students, many of whose careers will require them to confront human rights and security issues throughout the globe,” said interim dean John Coatsworth. What a load of b.s. This is the same university where invited speaker Jim Gilchrist, founder of the Minuteman Project, an anti-illegal immigrant group, was literally run off the stage by a student mob which refused to let him say a word. He has not been invited back, and the students who suppressed his right to speak were given a slap on the wrist by Columbia University president Lee Bollinger. But a man presiding over the world’s foremost terrorist nation–one which has supplied IEDs to terrorists in Iraq that have killed our troops? Registration for the event was closed down in less than an hour and a half–it’s a sellout. Apparently some “opportunities to hear, challenge, and learn from controversial speakers of different views” are “more equal” than others. And so a pathetically PC Columbia University faculty, and their “dumber than a box of rocks” student body, will legitimize a thug whose grand vision is to convert them to Islam–or exterminate them. Shame on all of you.
