A tragic story from the Ohio Democrat Party" She wrote: "...Why should minority students receive more scholarships and opportunities because they are minority? I could understand this plan if the minorities were doing well, but according to the graduation rates presented in Professor Mityaginâ's article this is not the case. It seems the less likely one's chance of succeeding in college is, the more scholarship opportunities arise. The Diversity Plan is just one form of discrimination on this campus." That last sentence aptly sums up the fraudulence of so-called "Diversity Plans" on many major college campuses. They did everything for the minority students except give them the tools that they needed to excel. It was all a numbers game. The minority students continued to sub-perform, but by golly, there were MORE of them, so the program was a success. Do you call that diversity? I suppose that to the liberal mind, not discriminating = discrimination. I am well familiar with this mindset, and in my experience, one who holds that view cannot see the inherent self-contradiction in it. But the major factor I found in the story is this: A young girl who enters college with sensible perspectives concerning racial equality, becomes indoctrinated, becomes a liberal democrat, and then is hoist on her own petard when the very party to which she converted throws her in the trash heap because of something she wrote years earlier, before she transformed. Rod Serling produced a TV show that evoked in me much the same poingnancy I felt upon reading this. PS: Colleges still sponsor racially segregated graduation ceremonies for racial minority students. Segregated. Do you think that racial segregation is a good idea?

You think that you succeeded in finding a portion of her letter that seems to be opposed to diversity, but you are wrong.
