They have no chance of success, because they can never get the support of enough evangelicals to even begin enacting restrictive laws. They never did, not even when daily prayer and Bible reading were the experience of MILLIONS of US schoolchildren. What you seem to wish is for evangelicals to take to the streets. That is primarily a practice of the left. Rarely if ever does the right get the kinds of "million-man" turnout that the left does. We don't run riot through the streets of Seattle, breaking store windows, to express our views. It's not compatible with the gospels. In many thousands of evangelical churches across the nation every weekend, the message is love, forgiveness, and humility. It is keeping in mind that this world is only temporary, that what matters is how we live, and that we render unto Caesar and unto God respectively. THAT is the protest. It will not satisfy your demands, but, like the Hebrew bakery, we answer to a higher power. We're not going to take over. Jesus will, when He returns in the flesh. That suits me just fine.

I have addressed the problem by saying that I do not support or condone suppressing anyone's freedom of religion in violation of the First Amendment.
