As opposed to looking at actions and reading the words of the Christian right to mean exactly what they appear to mean. I mean, come on, who could possibly disagree with supporting Christian values above all others in America? How dare I even begin to think they want a theocracy when their own words indicate that such is exactly what they want? How do I have the nerve and audacity to make such a claim? It isn't as if the Christian right groups don't support the actions of those three individuals who disrupted the Senate invocation because it was being delivered by a Hindu. It isn't as if a big name in the Christian right is putting together their defense. "I myself defended the right of a Buddhist prayer at a public school event where that was the predominant community religion." This is all well and good, but you and the Christian right both know that such communities are an extreme minority in America. You and the Christian right both know that rule by majority on this issue would for all intents and purposes create a theocracy. And once again, as this conversation was not about liberals and the dangers of their behaviors, some of which I agree are extremely dangerous, I will not solidly comment on that. I will merely repeat once again that it is far easier to attack than to defend, and by attacking liberals and what they are doing, you are not actually defending your position. I refuse to let this get sidetracked and turned into a slinging match over who is doing more harm and is more dangerous. This is not about that. This is about your original statement that the Christian right does not want to create a theocracy. I have read their words and seen their actions more than enough times to know that this is absolutely not true of the leadership of the Christian right.
