Your personal experience on campuses may not have led you to witness the numerous incidents reported by major news media on leftist campuses. But those incidents are a regular occurrence, and thoroughly documented. My own personal experience in many Baptist churches is one of preaching about love, about forgiveness, mercy, and God's mission to save ALL humans from the ravages of sin, including homosexuals, whom god loves. Of course, to some on the left, that is all hate speech, because they do not like it. To them, the murder of a baby is "choice," and to oppose choice should be a crime. The vast majority of Christian conservatives I know agree that freedom of religion for everyone is essential to a free America. But what has happened in the US is that religion, particularly Christianity, has become vilified by the left to the point where intolerance of religion has become the standard, default position of many public school administrations. I myself defended the right of a Buddhist prayer at a public school event where that was the predominant community religion. I've been in countries where other religions are the mainstream, and except for Arabia, I have not seen religious intolerance. Korea in particular was not a theocracy when it was mainly Shaman, and is not now a theocracy as it becomes more Christian. This idea of Christian theocracy is all scare-mongering from the left. Christians had EVERY chance to theocratize America for over 200 years, and did not do it. But NOW, suddenly we're a threat? Give me a break. If you wish to see what life would be like under a leftist tyranny, go to the UCLA campus at Berkely and convince them that you sincerely wish to hold a demonstration to educate people to the dangers of homosexuality, or of abortion. On second thought, you might be putting your life at risk.

You are trying to manufacture a conspiracy where there is none, never has been, and except from the left, never will be.
