Posted by Lee Russ Could the nature of the site explain the statement "Of course, those calling for more foreign aid are usually the same folks who oppose free trade and outsourcing—the very things that have the best potential to actually help the poor in any meaningful way, despite the growing pains of losing jobs" What's to be ashamed of? You should be proud of a site that has the bravery and conscience to run this: Such is the case with a curriculum for teaching about the Bible in government schools developed by the nonprofit National Council on Bible Curriculum In Public Schools. The case against NCBCPS is filed as “Moreno v. Ector County (Texas) school board,” but the real plaintiff is the ACLU and the real defendant is, well, God. We should probably all pray fervently that God doesn't lose the lawsuit;imagine the devastation He could wreak if he's unhappy with the verdict. Then again, being omnipotent is probably a real advantage in a lawsuit. "despite the growing pains of losing jobs"--that's classic. Just growing pains, we'll "grow" our way out it and then the whole planet will be happy. And certainly globalization/outsourcing can't be anything but beneficial to the developing country, right? Why, just look at China, the Marianas, andthose other shining spots of happiness. The point the futility of giving boatloads of aid to corrupt governments is certainy true. The rest of this blither should be taken for what it is. Check out the Patriot Post and see who these folks are.![]()

Gosh, Bob, why no URL so we can see the original at The Patriot? You wouldn't be trying to eep folks fromseeing exactly what kind of site it is would you? School is in but the Bible is out
When an organization finds itself squarely in the sights of the ACLU, and other uber-Leftist groups like the Anti-Defamation League and the self-proclaimed “People for the American Way,” we can be sure that the organization is exercising its constitutional rights in a meaningful and meritorious way.
