But when you insinuate that they would start a war to get votes, it is that sort of insane accusation that is "over the top." Even Bill Clinton was accused of letting the "tail wag the dog" when he initiated military action when it appeared that he did so to deflect attention from yet another of his sex scandals. But over the period of time in which I have been reading your posts, the impression I'm getting is that your partisanship is overriding your sense of objectivity. Which is why I suggested that, every once in awhile, we all need to smell the roses, take a walk, chill out.

I've opposed Estrich on many issues myself, so I feel no need to defend her where she's wrong. And as a basic liberal, she's wrong a lot. I just found it telling that even liberals get excoriated by other liberals for being too tolerant of the right.
