After all, Einstein didn't challenge the foundational theories of physics. He simply altered our understanding and way of looking at some of them with new insights that had been coming for ages. In other words, he didn't deny Newton's work on gravity. He simply provided us with a new way of viewing gravity based on the explanatory problems found within Newton's version.

Specifics?? Of a student denying the foundational theories of physics wanting to work in quantum mechanics, an area where an intimate knowledge, understanding, and acceptance of the basic theories is fundamental to even learning the most basic of concepts??
