Hi can anyone tell me what this name means? Some of my early McCall ancestors are called "CAIL MCCAIL" in the old records, but it is not consistent. Is there an English form of the name which I presume is gaelic eg as in Patrick/Peter, Alasdair/Alexander which are other names commonly usedin my ancestry. Thanks!
