hi,
you won't find a translation because the name is so new, Wendy was created as a 'friendly' name for the novel Peter Pan. The Gaelic language is an ancient one, and so it is difficult to translate modern words. However i'm sure someone will be able to tell you 'friend' in Gaelic, there are many forums on Scottish websites fo rthat kind of thing, just google it, but make sure you know whether you want scots gaelic or irish gaelic as they are different languages.
