BIG 8 SERIES HISTORY MADE AT OKTOBERFEST

Oktoberfest Race Weekend ended with two historical events taking place. Mike
Beyer became the Series first two-time winner while Jon Reynolds Jr. became the
inaugural season champion.

Wilberg got past Niles to take over the top spot. Wilberg would hold on to the
lead until lap 13 when Beyers moved from his fifth row starting position to take
over the top spot.

the day. The worse wreck occurred on lap 18 when Jim Jarlsburg, Justin Switlick,
and Todd Oliver were involved in a multi-car wreck on the backstretch.

Series. Tony Bagstad came home third while Ryan Carlson and Ricky Bilderback
rounded out the top five.
Championship by 21 points over Beyers. Reynolds Jr. was excited by his
championship. He stated that this Championship takes him by surprise because
just about every track he competed at was a first time experience for him.
Along with the Big 8 Series, fans were also treated to an ARTGO Reunion with many
former competitors and officials, including Art Frigo, were on hand for this
weekend?s activities.
