Bennett took the early lead in the 25-lap main event. Darrell Garman tucked into On the final lap, Nason got on the inside of Garman to challenge for second. Steve Talley held off a hard charging Nick Lasher to take home the 13-lap Hornet Talley grabbed the lead at the start. A big pile-up occurred in turn two on the Pat Smith won the Figure 8 feature event. Smith, along with Jack Mayberry and This Saturday night is Kid's Night at the Rockford Speedway. Frisch, Pat Smith and Steve Talley picked up feature wins on Full Throttle

for him to catch up to Lignell and Smith. With three laps to go, all three were
battling for the top spot.

the top spot. On the last lap, Mayberry and Gantz got together and both hit the
outside wall. Mayberry got the worse of it. Smith would go on to the win.
