Morrissey Wins ASL Valvoline Instant Oil Change 150 at
MIS
Storlie Wins Round One of Super Truck Triple Crown
Series
ASL Valvoline Instant Oil Change 150 at Madison
International Speedway on Saturday night. Morrissey,
who already has a super late model feature win to his
credit at MIS in 2005, started seventh in the sixteen
car field. “It feels great,” said a jubilant Morrissey
from victory lane.
Wisconsin’s Steve Carlson started in the front row for
the Valvoline Instant Oil Change 150. Carlson wasted
no time going to the front with John Vig Jr. right
behind him. Ryan Mathews of Lake Geneva worked his
way through the field and by lap fifteen was right on
Carlson’s tail.
Johnson of El Cajon, California, spun on the
backstretch. Carlson held the lead following the
restart but quickly relinquished it to Bryan Reffner
of Stevens Point, Wisconsin. One lap later Andrew
Morrissey passed Carlson for second and started to
work on the lead of Reffner.

will take place in all four divisions: Weaver Auto
Parts ASA Late Models, Bryden Motors Super Late
Models, Rockweiler Insulation Midwest Truck Series,
and the Bryden Motors Area Sportsman. Highlighting
the evening will be the Big Boom 75 for the ASA Late
Models.
Boucher of Janesville will also be presenting the
area’s top fireworks display. Grandstands open at
4:30, hot laps at 4:45, qualifying at 6:30 with racing
at 8:00 PM.
