Earlier, Brett Sontag, from Joliet set fast time in the late model division, Jerry Einhaus Jr went fastest in the Mid-Am ranks, and Coal City’s Brandon Clubb clocked in fastest in the Street Stock division. The track was red-flagged for a rain shower at the end of the second Mid-Am heat, which ended shortly and track drying began, but heavier rains soaked the track, causing the cancellation of the remaining events. Racing will continue next Friday night at the Grundy County Speedway, with time trials at 6:45 and the first race slated for an 8 p.m. start. The Grundy County Speedway is located just north of I-80, on Rt 47, at the Fairgrounds in Morris, Illinois. Link: http://www.rasehost.com/
