Major Contingency Program Announced at MIS
Madison International Speedway promoter Steve Einhaus announced today that a major contingency program is coming to MIS for 2005.
The program will make available a minimum of $50,000 in contingency products / certificates over the course of the season to competitors in Madison International Speedway's four weekly divisions: ASA Late Models, Super Late Models, Midwest / Mid Am Super Trucks, and Area Sportsman.
Madison International Speedway is proud to be one of only sixty tracks nationwide to be part of the Contingency Connection program. National manufacturers such as Auto Meter, MSD, Comp Cams, Mr. Gasket, Lincoln Electric, Mallory, Accel, Crane Cams, and Painless Wiring are just some of the contingency sponsors. Winning racers will receive their awards directly from the manufacturers.
Drivers will be required to register for the contingency program in early April. Two divisions will be featured each week on a rotating basis with the winning drivers receiving a $25.00 certificate for every contingency sponsor decal they are displaying on their car or truck. Additionally, a $2000 bonus award which includes merchandise and certificates from Mr. Gasket will go to one of our four divisional track champions. Richmond Gear and Parts Pro Performance Center will also be sponsoring a montly "Weekend Warrior" bonus program. More information on these programs will be available in April and questions should be directed to Steve Einhaus at miseinhaus@yahoo.com.
"I am very happy to see that we were accepted by the Contingency Connection to participate in this awesome program. It's not too often that you see weekly contingencies at local short tracks. This gives our racers the opportunity to win a huge bonus on top of their weekly payouts," said Einhaus.
"This will be a huge incentive to our weekly racers as we are only one of two tracks in the midwest who are part of this program. More information will be coming out in early April and I encourage all drivers to get on our MIS E-News to stay informed. My focus this year is to do everything I can to take care of our racers and I feel this is a great incentive for everyone to race at MIS," added Einhaus. Drivers can subscribe to the MIS E-News by contacting the track at mismedia2@yahoo.com.
Membership forms for the 2005 racing season are available on the MIS website at gotomis.com. "I would encourage everyone who is considering racing at MIS in 2005 to purchase a membership. In order to be eligible for this program a driver must hold an MIS membership. This is a great deal for drivers in all four of our weekly divisions," noted Einhaus.
The 2005 racing season at Madison International Speedway begins on Sunday, May 1. Weekly racing action returns to Friday nights in 2005 when the four weekly divisions take to the track on Friday night May 6.
