CHICAGOLAND AUTO RACING MEMORABILIA AND COLLECTIBLES SHOW Joliet, Ill. The 15th annual Chicagoland Auto Racing Memorabilia and Collectibles Show will be held at a new location this year the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet on Sunday, March 12. The largest area show of its kind featuring strictly auto racing collectibles will be held inside the heated garage area of the famed local super speedway. Vendors from throughout the Midwest will display their wares, offering area race fans a wide variety of auto racing memorabilia and collectibles for their examination. The show will feature photos, plastic models, newspapers and magazines, die cast cars, trading cards and much more. In addition to the memorabilia and collectibles part of the show, numerous former area racing champions will gather to chat with race fans about the "good old days" of racing and even sign an autograph or two. The show will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with admission being $4.00 for adults and children, 12 and under, admitted free. The speedway is located three miles south of Interstate 80 just west of Illinois Route 53. Show attendees will use Gate 5 on Laraway Road to access the track's infield area.
