North Series in 2006 The newest announcement is that Alison Quick has joined forces with Lorz Motorsports to drive in the A.S.A. North Series. She will run the Full Race Season and also will be a contender for Series Points Championship-&-Rookie Points Championship. The Lorz team will be expanding in 2006 with more opportunities to give young drivers a chance to showcase their talent in a professional series. The Lorz Motorsports team has been established for 23 years with vast experience and knowledge in racing that began local racing in 1983 then moved to the ARCA Series from 1993-1999, then would later move into the ASA Tour Series from 2001 to present. The team has been known to have talented race drivers in the past. 2006 will be a good year for Alison Quick who is 19 years old and she is an accomplished race car driver and she is waiting anxiously to show her talent as a race car driver in the ASA North Series She participated in the 2006 NASCAR "Drive for Diversity" Combine- South Boston, VA. Access Marketing and Communications, which manages "Drive for Diversity" (SM), received over 300 resumes and Alison was one of 19 drivers selected by a panel of motorsports professionals to attend the Combine in South Boston. At the age of 8 Alison started her racing in Go-Karts. By 1996, when she was 9, Alison finished her first full season of Go-Karts, in the Junior Sportsman Go-Kart Series, where she was 2nd in points in Allendale, MO. She has made her way through the dirt tracks by driving go karts and modifieds. By the year 2000, she became the Jamaica Raceway Track Point Series Champion-Jamaica, Iowa. In 2004, Alison was awarded the "Kara Hendrick Memorial Scholarship"- Lyn St. Jame's Driver Development Program. She also graduated from the Lyn St. James, Driver Development Program in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2005 she tested with Sadler Motorsports in a Late Model. That's when the change was made.
