An Astrology workshop in Hove November starts with Diwali the festival of light Mars shines brightly in the sky - a time of action Regaining passion - Finding True Love workshop in London A good exercise is to allow the dream world to show you when you lost your passion, your zest for life. Last night I dreamt of the time I almost drowned, age 13. Drowning is a metaphor for sadness and grief. Age 13 represents a chronic soul problem and my birth chart confirms this. I can help you uncover your soul poblem with an astrological consultation. If you are ready to heal your heartbreak, then a workshop - with the support of others - is an ideal place to reconnect your heart again. True love is all about passion. Falling in love is passionate. Taking a risk is passionate. Join me on November 12/13th in London for the workshop 'Finding True Love' to heal your heartbreak and regain your passion. Regaining Passion - Finding True Love workshop Chiron The Wounded Healer. An Astrology workshop in Hove When Chiron travels through a sign it will bring to the surface the deepest wounds. It's finishing its journey through the sign of Capricorn. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn so this indicates the father, authority, parent, and ancestor. To understand Chiron we need to look at his story. This One day astrology workshop will look at the story, use a guided mediation to connect with your inner Chiron and explore Chiron in your chart and in your life. Chiron Astrology Workshop

-- November starts with Diwali the festival of light
Dear Rifa,
This month is such a contrast to October as the new moon is next to Jupiter, planet of abundance and expansion. Also involved with the new moon is Uranus, planet of revolutionary change which connects postively with Jupiter, a very lucky combination. Think radical change. think big.
Diwali, the 4 day festival of lights falls on November 1st. What an auspicious start to this dark autumnal month! It's the day of worshipping Lakshmi, the goddess of abundance and love (similar to Venus). You can participate by lighting candles to manifest abundance for your year ahead.
Recently I keep being asked 'what's that bright star in the sky'? It's the planet Mars. Of major interest is the fact that since Dec 2004, Mars won't conjunct any planet (apart from the Moon) until June 2006. That's one and a half years on his own! As the planet of war this makes Mars especially strong. It's also very close to the earth (but not as close as it was in 2003). Look at Nasa's science web site for great info on Halloween and Mars. www.science.nasa.gov
Remember you are light. . . I love Nasa's web site for a picture every day of the stars/planets. Take a look at www.antwrp.gsfc.nas a.gov (see pic above of Mars on Oct 31st) for inspiration of the night skies, our light, our home in the stars. Search for the picture on your birthday, or your constellation.
I have been very aware of the lack of passion and low energy that has affected people this month. In my work with groups recently I've felt this deadness.
What were we once passionate about? As children we all had dreams, life was an adventure. When did our passion leave us?
I'm celebrating my birthday this month at a friend's house complete with sauna, hot tub and plunge pool. My vow for this year is to bring back passion into my life. Watch this space.
Date: November 19th, £50. Venue: Cornerstone Community Centre, Hove.
Chiron indicates:-
1. Where we are wounded.
2. Where we can heal others.
3. Where we can wound others through our carelessness.
Human beings are story tellers. We need to let others tell their stories so we can appreciate their efforts, their struggles and their successes. But if the story is being repeated constantly then it's time to look at what lies at its root. The dark stories come from the unconscious which speaks to us through metaphors and symbols. Once understood they can be reframed and the mind shown that it's now helpful to let go of its long held beliefs.
