Healing and creativity
The lunar eclipse is October 17th at 13.03 BST.
I wrote earlier this month of the potential for healing that this eclipse offers with the Sun and Moon being challenged by Chiron the wounded healer archetype. It's a perfect day for reflection and being aware of the messages that want to be given to you.
The Sun is also closely allied to Jupiter in the last degrees of Libra. When these two planets join there is the potential to tap into the very source of our creative power. They do this only once a year and it's next Saturday - October 22nd.
I timed my workshop 'Awaken Your Gifts' to coincide with this special planetary combination of the Sun and Jupiter. A workshop creates a sacred space where it's possible to tune into Source and to creative vision. I am always amazed at how the people who show up are deeply connected on a soul level.
One method I love to access my higher mind is by using card decks. An all time favourite is The Inner Child deck, based on traditional fairy stories.
I was intuitively drawn to it today when I asked what I needed to share with you this week. The card chosen was:-

Spica - the gift of the goddess
Though not visible in the Northern hemisphere, at the lunar eclipse the Sun and Jupiter will be close to the star Spica associated with wealth, fame, honour, glamour, the "Fortunate One". Spica is the wheat sheaf being held by the goddess of fertility, the thousand named Isis, or the Christian Mary. Spica represents the gift of the goddess. This is the gift of new knowledge.
Alcyone - mystical but judgemental
This Wednesday Oct 19th visible in the night sky the Moon will join Mars in the constellation of the Pleiades with the star Alcyone. This is a star which is connected to visions and brings ambition, honour and glory.
