I'm not too sure about extra training though - I suppose anatomy of animals would be helpful to know, and maybe there are specific techniques to communicate with animals. In my experience, animals tend to come to me and take what they need and then leave! Maybe it's worth talking to a few teachers and seeing what's involved. Hope this helps
