Hi Rifa,
how are you? How is your practice going? I'm sorry I haven't been in contact for some time.
Meeting with you and doing the course under your guidance had a great influence on me. I had a strong 'reaction' after the course. I had very vivid (and meaningful) dreams and visions. It was a very profound experience with very positive outcomes.
My realisation that being a teacher is my way of contributing to "the grater good" has become more of a conviction. I have also realised that it really isn't that important exactely what subject I teach. It is the contact with people and the opportunity to share my knowledge with kindness, consideration, patience and compassion that matters. For this is what Reiki is.
The result is that I have changed my attitude to English teaching completely. I used to look at it as a means of making some money, but I used to feel like there was something else I was meant to be doing (e.g. healing). Now it's our livelyhood. And now that I've changed my attitude to it, it has become even profitable! (Well, it does help that I enjoy teaching as a process very much...)
I have already attuned my first Reiki students. In the beginning it was a bit scary, doing it all on my own (especially when one of them I had to do in a mixture of Bulgarian and Czech...). But that soon passed. It is such a unique experience! Thank you again!
I am hoping to organise a couple of courses next summer in Exmouth. I have found the perfect place - it is called "The Quiet Mind Centre". Their website is www.quite-mind.org. It is a charity which provides healing and counselling to people who suffer from physical, emotional and stress-related problems and are on low income.
In order to get approved by them to use their centre, I need to have an interview with them and to provide some references from my tutors. Would you be prepared to write a reference for me (seing as you are my latest tutor)?
Hope to hear from you soon,
Best wishes,
Nevena
