I'm very Also, I don't usually cover treating others until reiki 2, mainly because I'm also going to hold a free a reiki sharing group again soon so you can There are a number of reasons why I've decided to do Reiki 2 in one day. A couple of people are coming down from London and they have already Let me know what you think - I would rather you were honest and not take care
Hi Sophie
glad you've told me how you feel - I wish I got more feedback!
It is sometimes a problem with doing reiki One so informally, because we
all talk so much (mainly me!) but basically the 21 days are your practice,
and the more you practice on yourself the stronger the reiki becomes and the
more you'll see a difference. However, even if you can't feel anything much
- IT IS STILL WORKING!! you can't 'do it wrong' beacuse the reiki is working
all the time on you, by itself. I can't remember if you've had a treatment
yourself - if you'd like to come and experience a treatment let me know..it
might help kick-start your own reiki and ally any doubts you've got.
I believe self-healing is so important. I am sorry we didn't do more of the
self-healing and that you left feeling as you've described. I can (almost)
guarantee you will feel an immediate difference after Reiki two in your
healing of yourself and you will gain the confidence you need to treat
others. There is a lot to cover,2 attunements, learning 3 symbols, distant
healing and practice on others. I am confident with a longer day (10 to
6.30pm) we will cover everything we need to (usually its 10-4.30 on day 1
and then 12pm to 5pm on day 2). But if you'd like to come back and do day 2
for more practice on another Reiki 2 workshop soon, you are more than
welcome to do that. We'll also do shorted meditations and less work with
angel cards and hopefully less talking and more doing!
come and practice on other reiki people and talk to them about their
experiences. That's on an evening for a few hours. It is quite common to
feel a bit lost after reiki 1 - I was the same, especially if we have quite
'hectic' weekends
But Reiki 2 steps everything up and it will all make
much more sense.
I'm getting the new bathroom fitted at the beginning of October which means
I can't do any reiki workshops, give treatments or yoga tution in my house
for a while. So rather than waiting til Nov to do another Reiki 2, this is
the only weekend I can fit it in. However, I just started a year long course
myself ("Steps to Leadership" with Pam Curruthers), and one of the key
workshops falls on that weekend.
booked in, so it was a compromise - I know this may seem quite selfish of me
to do - and I know I messed you around a bit with dates before, but things
seem to be much more hectic since I started a part-time job in Brighton
recently. I was hoping everyone would understand, about me trying to do it
in one day but if you feel it won't be enough practice, we can always move
you to the reiki 2 workshop in nov...
everyone likes my informal slap-dash style of teaching so I wouldn't be
offended if you wanted to talk to other Reiki Teachers in Brighton who teach
in a more structured way. Not that I WANT you to go elsewhere! It'll be nice
to see you again, give me a call one evening if you want to chat more or
email me back soon.
love RIfa
