Don't worry about falling asleep during self-healing...you're not really doing the healing, if you see what I mean, you are letting the reiki come into you, so even if you fall asleep it's still working. Don't worry if you can't do every day or if you're drinking...all these changes (healing,diet, drinking, exercise) are all part of the healing process and you can't force it to happen at once. Worrying or feeling guilty about it doesn't help! What might be helpful is just congratulating yourself about what small changes you have already made, and using your reiki book to add a list of things you'd like for your health...all my changes have been very gradual, and I go through phases with my diet and exercise..but the main change for me was giving up smoking completely. Last year, I stuck in my latest book a picture of a woman smoking, and put a big thick black line through it...I know it was just symbolic but I think it helped. So find pictures of people doing yoga, or looking healthy and happy and stick it in your book ![]()
anyway, hope this helps and keep up the good work - the self-healing is supposed to be fun and relaxing, so please don't worry about if you are doing it "right" or make it into a chore.
