Posted by Denny Arnett on 10/3/2005, 2:57 pm, in reply to "June D/S AMA ride" This Dual sport ride is more of an enduro/hare acramble because of the tightness of the course. We use little road but have lots of two track and single track trails. It has been voted one of the best in the series. This event is on private land so it can only be ridden this one time, we do use some forest service trails. This is also one of the only events that uses a group leader to lead you through for the two days. If you can get in it is well worth it and what some people do is appoint a point person to send in the entery fees for the group they are going to ride with so no one person is left out. It does get pricey that way but at least you won't have a person left out. I hope this helps.
There isn't a write up about the event, that I know of. The event is the national and is limited to 100 people, so it fills up fast. To be sure you get an entry form you will need to be a member of the MTRA, which you can print off this site, and you will be on the mailing list to receive the entry form. The sign-up is first come first served. We have some who overnight the application to make sure they get in.
