Finger Lakes State Park is holding a public meeting to get input from the riders, on the direction they should take the park. They are closing serveral hundred acres to start with so this tells me that this park is short lived unless we step up and go to bat for what we have.
I know everyone is busy, but if we don't show up in numbers for the meeting, they are just going to think we don't care. I heard someone say, "make sure you tell them your talking for more than just you, I can't come". Well, I am sorry that doesn't work if your body isn't at the meeting they are going to know you don't care enough to make it a priority. We have a chance to show them we care and that we want the park to improve, not to continue it's state of decline.

(This is the second meeting like this, the first meeting only a few riders showed up. Don't send the wrong message to them, show up, be counted! It is a three hour drive for me one way but I am still going.)
