Thank you for your comments regarding the state of the beach at Coney Beach the day of the competition. I would point out to you that the beach is not the responsiblitiy of the Town Council nor is it the responsibility of the County Borough Council. The state of the beach has been pointed out to me on more than one occasion this year and I will tell you as I have told everyone else. The reponsibility of Coney Beach is the owner of the Funfair Mr Pat Evans so perhaps you could direct your comments to him. Identify yourself and you may just only may get a response back from him. As you are a local I take it that you know his address but just in case you don't he lives in Glan Road Porthcawl.
However I will bring to the attention of the Borough Council the discovery of needles on the beach as this is a public health hazard. Thanks again for your comments.
