Sam is correct, as they get your personel details from your CV, and then get your bank details with the promise of money, or they pretend to be you, whilst frauding others. If the job sounds to good to be true..... be cautious.... never send you personal information unless you are 100% sure of the company or individual, a simple Google is not enough, as they sometimes use original address's with different telephone numbers. References can 
also work for potential crew, ask for them, also ask a few simple questions about yacht details and the industry before further coresponence, this will useally show a scammers lack of knowledge about the industry.
