The Amble Boat Company has been used by Nigerian scammers to get potential crew to send money or credit card numbers for visas, registrations, ect. Prior to sending any money it would be well advised to check with the company to make sure the offer is legitimate. That is not to say that the Capts. posting on the bulliten board are not legit but check it out if anyone asks you to send money to them for a crew position.
