I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast ca in 2012- I had a lumpectomy, chemo and radiation. Tumor was HER - and progesterone/estrogen positive. I also was found to have a BRCA 2 mutation. I participated in a year long Herceptin study I recently found out that I have metastatic disease to my bones- my spine, hips, femur- I am only 50 years old, am a single Mom raising my 13 year old twin boys and my 11 year old daughter. I will be treated with Faslodex and Ibrance. Everything I read about these drugs is that the survival rate is 2 years. I need longer than 2 years to get my kids raised. Also wanting to hear how others did with the treatments? Did you loose your hair ? I had a really hard time with chemo and hoping this will be a better experience-
