I was diagnosed in December 2000. Had mastectomy in January 2001. Tumor was estrogen/progesterone negative, Her2neu strongly positive. Finished chemo in April 2001. 11 YEARS AND NED. At the time, Herceptin was only used for when the cancer had spread, so I was not even given the opportunity to have that. Just the A/C. Please tell your friend that I will keep her in my prayers.
