Stage 4

I have been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer with skin and bone mets. Cancer hasn't responded to any treatments. My estrogen levels are still high even though I take tamoxifen and get zoledex shots. Without being able to slow down the tumors growth, the doctor has given me 1 year at the least and 5 at the most. He is sending me to Vanderbilt for another opinion, but it doesn't sound hopeful. My children are 6, 12, and 15. I feel like I've let them down, and I'm scared to death.
