Hello ladies!
I have been a poster here since my diagnosis in 2006. I was recently diagnosed with a recurrence and after a clinical trial in which I will be doing another lumpectomy and targeted radiation to the tumor site my onc wants to do chemo as the tumor is ER/PR & HER2 ++. We will be doing Carboplatin and Taxotere, as well as Herceptin. I did AC and Taxol last time and am not familiar with Carboplatin - can anyone tell me what the side effects are like? I am going to have to work during chemo in order to keep my insurance so I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with this drug. Thanks so much!
